Installing TPT Purchase Downloader

1. Download the installer from bearwoodlabs.com/purchasedownloader/PurchaseDownloader.dmg.
2. Open the installer and drag the Purchase Downloader icon into your Applications folder.
3. Open your Applications folder and double-click Purchase Downloader to launch it.
4. The first time you launch it, you’ll be prompted to connect your TPT account. This opens Safari in the background so you can log in with your usual TPT credentials — the app never stores your login details, since sign-in happens entirely in Safari. Once you reach your Purchases page in Safari, that window closes and your purchases appear in the app.
5. Choose a folder where you want your TPT purchases saved. You can pre-create this folder if you’d like a specific location.
6. Review the table of your purchases, which you can filter as needed.
7. Click Download next to any product to save it to your chosen folder.

TPT School Access

TPT Purchase Downloader does not currently support logging in with TPT School Access. If your account uses School Access, the app won’t be able to connect.

Fixing load errors

If your purchases fail to load or you see an error message when loading purchases:

1. Restart the app.
2. Click Load Purchases.
3. Check for updates and install the latest version if one is available.

This clears most temporary connection issues, and your purchases should load normally afterward.

macOS compatibility

TPT Purchase Downloader requires macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) or newer. If your Mac is running an older, unsupported version of macOS and there’s no compatible build available, you can request a refund.
